Ohio Community Computing Network is committed to creating a society in which everyone has equal opportunity to gain access to computer and network technology for life-long learning and personal and community empowerment.

Welcome to OCCN

Ohio Community Computing Network or OCCN is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to helping communities bridge the digital divide through a variety of initiatives. For over 10 years in partnership with the Corporation for National Service . OCCN has ran a VISTA program where we have placed full-time volunteers at community technology programs .

OCCN has a rich history of pioneering community technology centers in low-income areas around the state of Ohio. As the digital divide becomes less about access to computers and more about a culture of use and understanding OCCN has worked with our VISTA members to develop projects such as the GED Connections video site and TACO  (Technology Alliance of Central Ohio). We are also working with Connect Ohio the Governors broadband initiative to help make access to high-speed internet universal in the state of Ohio.
